In success she says that you have to know failure, in order to know victory. “Success is counted sweetest by those who ne’er succeed”. This is other words means just what I said at the beginning, those who win should know how defeat feels. “Not one of all the purple Host who took the flag today can call the definition so clear of victory” Victory in other words is not so clear because the way to describe it is hard and the one person might describe it is not the way all interpret it. Some or not most are all interpreted with the usage of a not so victorious victory.
My opinion on this poem is that in a way I think that all of this is true. People always told me to be a good winner I have to be a good loser also and I have to know how to be approached with a lost in something. So this poem speaks truth.
