The opinion of the writer of “Muhammad Ali Then and Now” is how Ali became to be. He thinks that Ali is a great guy and is nice. His attitude changes in the ring, but if you really get to know him, he will be a good friend. He saw Ali grow from an 18 year old to be a Heavy Weight Champion. His appearance and reputation have changed, but his personality stayed the same.
The opinion is important because the writer has his point of view on Ali, and anyone can have the same point of view.
I would have to disagree with this person because I think that the story had to be a little more deeper than for Dick Schaap just to tell the world that Ali is a great person. On thing that could make me agree with this statement is by them stating what caused Ali to change. What influenced his way of thinking? Why did he join the Nation of Islam?
ReplyDeleteI think when discussing the way Ali changed throughout his career and his life one must look at the factors which influenced this change. Not only is it important how Alis image was changed but it is also importnat to understand why. Try to include specific reasons that may have influenced this change in perspective. Also on the flip side there seems to be great evidence for the fact that he really didnt change at all. I disagree with this person simply for the reason that not enough evidence or statements to back up the opinion are included in the post. One cannot prove or sufficiently support this arguement.
