In the easy Muhammad Ali Then and Now by Dick Scrap is about Muhammad’s life and how he changes over time but he is still that same person he used Ali as an expel of how when he first met him he was use to the life of the slums and poorer end of Americans. As time went on he changed and adapted to the life of the rich. He learned all the tricks and how he didn’t really care the value of money as he use. But all along he was still the same old kid that started boxing. His outward side of home changed but inside he was still the same old Ali
His opinion at the time was very important because the society at the time was very much like Ali. They where changing the people the racism and rights where changing. But deep down inside American was still the same even with the law’s they made and how they said they where the home of the free and land of the brave. It was just a fake act to cover up who we are on the inside.
I disagree with this becuase Muhammad changed but stayed the same? i think that he changed over time to become a different person than he was in his younger cockier days as a fighter. also the racism was changing but not as much as ali has bacuse muhammad changed alot and racism changed but not as much.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with this, because, Ali did change, but he became this cocky kid boxer who thought he could take on the world. And Racism through society was on the brink od changing, but Ali thought other wise.
