In the essay “Ali now and then” the author knows that he hasn’t changed but then again he wants to change  few details to let the readers know that he has changed in a way. Cassuis hasn’t changed in his view although in society he has changed. In the E.B White essay he says that people change but then they are still there in reality. These opinions are used to understand what the writer is trying to say about the protagonist. But  then again they can become the dynamic character. So it just depends…
